Head of Global Marketing - Printing & Packaging Solutions

Not only in homes and offices, but also in smartphones, displays, cars, airplanes or roof-mounted photovoltaic systems. One of their 7000 products is probably sticking somewhere around you, often unnoticed, in a wide range of daily applications. Tesa is represented in 42 countries with around 5000 employees, have 14 plants, production facilities and large technology centers in Europe, Asia and North America. The goal is to achieve sustainable international growth in the coming years.
As part of their declared commitment to significantly strengthen their market position and enhance customer proximity, the Direct Market Division has set up an additional Business Unit in Norderstedt, near Hamburg. This unit, focusing on various areas such as global product marketing, global product development, and global sales, will concentrate on the highly strategic Flexible Packaging and labelling market.
The Head of Global Marketing is a senior role within the BU designed to lead the definition and the implementation of the global marketing strategy, product strategy and roadmaps.
Among other things, this senior leader will have the following key responsabilities :

Strategic leadership

Develop and execute the global marketing strategy for the Printing and Packaging Solutions business unit.

Align marketing objectives with the overall business goals to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership.

Team Leadership

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team and collaborate with local marketing teams across multiple regions.

Foster a collaborative environment to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, and other business functions.

Product Marketing
​

Leading the product management team and collaborate with R&D to successfully launch innovative products tailored to customer requirements.

Design marketing campaigns that highlight product benefits and differentiation in a competitive market.

Market Analysis & Insights
​

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the flexible packaging and labeling industries.

Leverage insights to shape product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies.

Brand Management
​

Strengthen brand equity by developing and implementing consistent and impactful branding initiatives.

Oversee the creation of marketing materials that align with the brand identity and resonate with target audiences.

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation

Drive the adoption of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, and social media campaigns.

Implement lead generation programs to support the sales pipeline and boost customer acquisition.

Event Management

Oversee the organization and participation in industry trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.

Develop strategies to maximize ROI from event participation.​

Required Experience
​​​

Senior Manager with 15+ years’ experience and a master degree from top university or business school

Deep knowledge of B2B product Marketing and related processes with a proven track record in bluechip organizations

Demonstrated expertise in leading teams to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, consistently delivering exceptional business outcomes.

International and cross-functional experience

Expertise in digital marketing tools and techniques.
